STUDY SMARTER WITH WYSBRIDGE.

We analyzed every exam, question, and answer to gain a comprehensive insight into the testing patterns and behaviors you’ll most likely encounter on your exam.  Below is a quick overview of the power of these insights.

77% of Patent Bar Exam questions come from 5 chapters.

Seeing how there are 29 chapters, that means 23% of the patent bar exam questions are sourced from the remaining 24 chapters.  In fact, the top 10 most tested chapters cover 91% of the exam.  Imagine if you didn’t know this and instead spent equal amounts of your time trying to study each chapter.  You’d end up wasting valuable time and energy.

31% of Patent Bar Exam questions come from 10 specific sections of the MPEP.

Now that you already know that 5 MPEP chapters account for roughly 3/4ths of the exam questions, imagine if you knew which specific sections of those chapters were more heavily tested.  In fact, 31% of the USPTO Patent Bar Exam questions are sourced from 10 specific subsections of the MPEP.

71% of Patent Bar Exam questions come from 5 specific U.S. Codes (Appendix L of the MPEP).

Title 35 of the United States Code is a title of United States Code regarding patent law.  In the MPEP (and on your exam) these codes are found in Appendix L and are designated by a prefix of “35 USC”. There are hundreds of specific U.S. Codes. However, we know that out of all of the codes tested on the exam, 71% of the questions come from just 5 of these codes. Imagine if you didn’t know this and instead spent equal amounts of your time trying to learn every code.  You’d end up wasting valuable time and energy.

42% of Patent Bar Exam questions come from 10 specific Codes of Federal Regulations (Appendix R of the MPEP).

CFR Title 37 – Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights is one of fifty titles comprising the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).  Within the MPEP and on your exam, these are found in Appendix R (designated 37 CFR).  Again, there are hundreds of these titles.  However, of all the titles tested on the exam, 42% of the questions come from just 10 specific references.  How’s that for targeted studying?
